I met Leine after hearing her play at a festival in Vondelpark, Amsterdam in the summer of 2008. I love her unique songwriting and beautiful voice. I met Roland in New York in the summer of 2007. What struck me most was what I felt as his musical purity. Roland manages to touch the deepest and most delicate parts of myself. There's a softness and purity that makes me feel comfortable with going in such vulnerable places. Roland teaches me the perfection of imperfection. I've known Massimo Spinosa for over 22 years. He's been my music theory teacher when I was 12 and I produced various things at his studio throughout the years. These two songs were arranged and produced by him and and co-written with Rosa Mangano, who also sings them.
